Our Role

The primary purpose of the Trust is to administer, manage and maintain the property and land we manage for the benefit of the people of Looe. We act for the benefit of the community, now and into the future.

We have a small staff who keep the public areas looking attractive and conserve the buildings.

All of this can be expensive and is difficult to manage as we are fund our work mainly from leases and parking. These carefully managed funds are what enables us to do everything we do: from clearing the seafront; to repairing the Guildhall tower.

The Trust’s Community Role

East Looe Town Trust is able to make small donations from Trust funds upon request. The policy for this and pro forma can be found on the pdf at the bottom of this page.
